Following four highly successful years in Rheinberg/Germany, the METRO Group Future Store Initiative is now moving on to test the future of retailing at a store operated by the Real sales brand. We will announce the opening of the new Future Store in due time.

As one of the first locations in Germany, the store in Rheinberg/Germany will be converted to the latest Extra concept, which will in future offer our customers a number of benefits. Better service, higher quality of the diverse assortment and an even more pleasant shopping atmosphere are guaranteed. Popular and frequently used technologies like the self-checkouts and the Smart Scales will of course continue to make shopping more convenient.

Kindly understand that until further notice we do not offer any more guided tours in the Future Store. Alternatively, we recommend the guided tours at our METRO Group RFID Innovation Center in Neuss. more
