The real,- sales division responds to this trend by offering numerous convenience meals under the umbrella of its private label "real,- Quality". The new concept "my fresh food menu" enables the customer to prepare meals for two people by combining components, such as meat, sauces and trimmings, individually and in a short time.

At the real,- Future Store in Toenisvorst, convenience foods as well as fruit & vegetables are being offered together in a single department for the first time. The Fresh Food & Convenience department includes an area with fresh convenience foods and another area with products originating from organic farming as well as exotic fruits, salads for instant consumption, and juices. At a seasonal marketplace, regional fruit and vegetables are presented in an appealing manner. At a tasting counter, customers also have the possibility to try selected products that are prepared in bite-size portions at the store’s own fresh produce kitchen.
