MUL Services

Through its System Solutions division, MUL Services GmbH provides comprehensive process consulting and IT solutions. The main focus in this area is on developing innovative e-business solutions that build on Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technologies. With some 150 employees at offices in Aachen, Cologne and Troisdorf, MUL Services works for renowned companies of all sizes and from many different industries.

As a Silver Partner, MUL Services provides the METRO GROUP Future Store Initiative with valuable expertise: The company developed an integrated customer information system for the RFID pilot project at Galeria Kaufhof in Essen. Installed in the menswear department, the system enables customers to access information on prices, sizes and fabrics via Smart Shelves, Smart Mirrors and Smart Dressing Rooms. It also makes suggestions on matching garments and combinations. At the METRO GROUP RFID Innovation Center, MUL Services is currently testing other innovations, such as a Smart Virtual Catwalk, which offers customers individual advices.

The eBserv RETAIL.PORTAL is a platform for managing information for RFID-based business processes in the logistics, sales and service sectors. Its core functions conform to the EPCIS architecture and enable near real-time event management and the tracking and tracing of goods and assets across the supply chain. In addition, the eBserv RETAIL.PORTAL supports the flexible integration of RFID-based processes and applications.

IDserv COMMERCE.SERVICES are a modular product family of RFID-based applications for interactive customer and sales information systems such as Smart Shelves, Smart Dressing Rooms or Smart Mirrors. With RFID transponders attached to the garments the services offer customers and staff useful informations on available sizes, matching combinations or other comparable items. Store personnel can locate items more easily and profits from automated stock control. In short, IDserv COMMERCE.SERVICES contribute in many ways to an innovative customer service and a new shopping experience.
