 Applications in the Future Store

In the original Future Store, all applications were running on innovative blade servers from HP. The company also provided consulting to METRO GROUP concerning the selection of mobile devices – the group decided to use small, portable iPAQ computers from HP – and drew up the concept for their utilization in stores. HP also supplied all printers for the Future Store.

 Solutions for the future

HP is an active participant in the METRO GROUP Future Store Initiative, seeing it as an important alliance that paves the way to the future of retail. The partners are joining forces to find innovative solutions for the needs of their customers as well as their staff.
