Ever since August 2003, renowned retail clients have been deploying crosscan’s innovative technologies with a view to raising the efficiency of their customer-centered retail processes. Analyses and reports generated from crosscan systems are widely accepted as a critical basis for operative and strategic management decisions. By monitoring people traffic, customer frequency, dwell times and pedestrian flows, retailers can identify, evaluate and adjust performance drivers and cost drivers. crosscan Connect
crosscan Connect is a classic, stationary people counter offered in a fullservice remote control version. Regardless of the type of sensor chosen, all on-location measuring stations are connected to the crosscan Connect server, situated in a data center, via the company network and a Web uplink. The crosscan Connect service ensures that the measurements are transferred to the server in regular intervals while giving crosscan service personnel remote access for configuration or maintenance. This means that, from the moment the sensors are installed and the network is activated, the system can be run and maintained almost completely remotely.
Selected staff designated by the client (sales assistants, store managers, department heads, top management or experts from market research, corporate development or controlling) have online access to the crosscan Connect data analysis and data visualization platform. Authorization levels can be individually adapted to requirements and entitlements. All crosscan solutions are strictly compatible with data protection regulations.
