Testing future-oriented solutions
For some time, ADT Sensormatic has been working to encourage widespread adoption of Radio Frequency Identification. In the Dutch city of Echt, ADT established the RFID Performance Test Center which has accreditation from the international standardization organization EPCglobal. The center provides ADT Sensormatic customers with the opportunity to test how the radio technology can be integrated into their processes. ADT Sensormatic is also a partner in the Apparel RFID Solution Centre in the Finnish city of Lahti. The facility is used for modeling processes in the fashion retail sector, from production and the supply chain to the front store.
ADT Sensormatic is a Silver Partner of the METRO Group Future Store Initiative and cooperates with other participating companies to develop innovative and future-oriented solutions. ADT Sensormatic is also present at the METRO Group RFID Innovation Center in Neuss, Germany, where it provides RFID readers and antennas for the ultrahigh-frequency range (UHF) along with Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) systems featuring RFID.
