Deputy Prime Minister of Ireland visits real,- Future Store

 On 16 March 2010 the Deputy Prime Minister of Ireland, Mary Coughlan, and the Irish Ambassador, Dan Mulhall, visited the real,- Future Store in Tönisforst with a 20-member delegation of industry representatives.

 On the occasion of the Irish national holiday, St. Patrick's Day, the two politicians met with representatives of the Irish industry as well as top managers from the German retail sector. The businessmen used this opportunity for an exchange of experiences and for networking.




 Coughlan very impressed by the Future Store concept

 The Irish Deputy Prime Minister was very impressed by the design of the Real store. Especially the innovative software solutions for mobile phones like the Mobile Shopping Assistant (MSA) and the real,- app for the iPhone impressed her. She was also greatly pleased with the modern payment options at the checkout such as pay by fingerprint and pay by wireless. Coughlan was convinced that many of the technologies deployed at the Future Store who would stand their ground in the retail environment.
