With 224 exhibitors and more than 3,500 visitors from 40 nations, the 25th German Logistics Congress had again prompted leading industry, retailing and science experts from all over the world to meet in Berlin. In line with the conference slogan "Creating Value – Connecting Cultures," the three-day event was devoted to in-depth discussions about current business challenges in the world of logistics.
Along with seven partners from the METRO GROUP Future Store Initiative, METRO Group set up its booth in the lobby of the InterContinental Hotel. Experts and RFID practitioners from METRO GROUP, CHEP, FEIG ELECTRONIC, IBM, Intermec, m.i.k. IT, Procter & Gamble and TOSHIBA TEC invited interested visitors to share knowledge in face-to-face dialog.
One of the highlights offered at the booth was a special RFID competition in which conference participants were asked to guess the number of RFID transponders on a model truck. Winners received attractive prizes supplied by METRO GROUP and its partners.
