Hello, we are the Taylors. We’ve traveled more than 500,000 light years with our rocket to see the new innovations of the METRO GROUP Future Store Initiative. Our first stop on Earth was the real,- Future Store . We were really impressed by the exciting concepts and technology. Now we’re having a little breather here and taking the opportunity to tell you a bit about ourselves.

My name is Paul Taylor. I’m married to Katharina Taylor and we have two children – Mia and Ben. My family is very important to me. I make sure that I spend as much time with them as possible in the evenings and at weekends. Our favorite thing to do together is shopping! Therefore we’re interested in the new developments in retail. As a technology fan, I find the Mobile Shopping Assistant  in the real,- Future Store especially exciting.

I’m Cathrin Taylor. As a housewife and mother of two children, life is often quite stressful! The shopping alone for the four of us and our dog Oscar takes a lot of time and energy. That’s why I’m so happy about the new technology and concepts that make shopping easier, quicker and more convenient. I especially like the hypermarket Express Self-Checkouts  in the real,- Future Store, because they make long queues at the checkout a thing of the past!

I’m Ben and most of all I like to be out and about all day. I like riding my rocket bike and playing space ball with friends. Sport is definitely my favorite pastime. There are so many new things here on Earth for me to discover, for example, in the sports department  at the real,- Future Store. I think it’s great that I can try out such a variety of equipment. And besides, the music is cool too.

My name is Mia, I’m Ben’s sister. I prefer dancing instead of playing spaceball. Since we arrived on Earth I’ve discovered dozens of new bands. I also really like the make-up on Earth – I just don’t really know which colors suit me. Soon I’ll be going to the real,- Future Store with my mum. There they have a Beauty Terminal  in the ‘beauty & more’ department, and I’m sure I’ll pick up some good tips there.

Allow me to introduce myself - Walter Taylor. I am traveling with my son Paul and his family on their journey to the future of retail. Here on Earth I have found out that I fall into the ‘Over 50s’ category, which I’m very pleased about. On our planet there are no special offers for us senior citizens but I’m happy to say that here it‘s different, for example, in the real,- Future Store. The variety of combinable convenience foods on offer from the Fresh and Convenience foods section  mean that I can easily prepare delicious meals.

I’m Oscar, the Taylors’ dog. At home, I love chasing the neighbor’s cat around the meteorite belt and I like going on expeditions with Mia and Ben. I definitely have the best nose for adventure. At the real,- Future Store I like the fish market  best. I could romp around on the Interactive Floor for hours and it smells so delicious, with fresh herbs and lime.
