noFilis AutoID GmbH, headquartered in Ismaning near Munich, Germany, is a specialist in the field of AutoID and sensor technology. The company develops standard software packages and offers expert knowledge as a professional provider of AutoID-related services. Its fields of expertise include the integration of devices and software, the optimization of project and process management and the implementation of RFID technology. Employing a staff of 25, noFilis collaborates with various international partners.

noFilis is a member of the standards organization EPCglobal and a partner of the METRO GROUP Future Store Initiative. The real,- Future Store has incorporated the noFilis CrossTalk device management solution into its quality management for meat products. The METRO GROUP RFID Innovation Center in Neuss is testing the AutoID management platform CrossTalk developed by noFilis, furthermore the CrossTalk software is part of METRO GROUP's 'Advanced Logistics Asia' (ALA) project.

noFilis has developed a management platform for AutoID networks which aims at reducing integration and operating costs of RFID networks. noFilis CrossTalk provides an easy way to integrate AutoID readers with different ERP and SCM systems. Its agent-based architecture supports the operation of all kinds of device types and models in a shared network. The system assists users in planning and configuring RFID rollouts and pilot projects, and can be used to test RFID devices and sensor technology. CrossTalk is an intelligent new way to manage AutoID environments: it monitors and controls the individual components and sensors and offers users a single platform for managing the entire infrastructure. It also reports any errors immediately.
