RFID – Four letters that stand for efficiency

The abbreviation RFID is short for Radio Frequency Identification.  This technology is used to capture data automatically using radio waver. Information can be processed efficiently and at low cost. RFID is not a totally new application, but has been in use in aviation or container logistics since the seventies. In the last few years, the technology has made considerable progress which has made it suitable for other fields of application .

Experts believe that there is great economic potential  which Europe in particular, as a base for business, will be able to benefit from. Even today, RFID is offering retail organizations  a host of advantages in logistics and warehouse management.
